6 weeks Essay

This Six Weeks was very busy for me , there was so much to do especially since it was the holidays. I felt like I had the best holiday for Christmas Break . The first week my family prepped for the Christmas party , since my family hosts it every year. We put up our christmas tree and cooked all of our traditional dishes. My family celebrates Christmas Eve and at the stroke of midnight we open our gifts. In my family if you are over twelve your name is entered into a drawing and you get one persnal gift from a family memeber . That is the gift you open on Christmas Eve , then on Christmas day you open the gifts from your parents. Afterward , we eat leftovers from the christmas party. I loved being on break because of all the time I got to spend with my family. Then eventually New Years came , we celebrated at my Aunt's house , we just have a dinner party . We have weird traditions such as : eating twelve great for each month of the year , to ensure a great year , wearing multiple primary colors that represent something in hopes of having a " wealthy , happy new year". It was a great year of 2012 for me , I am just glad to move foward . Nothing else really worth mentioning happened this six weeks for me. Happy New Year!
