A boston running marathon was bombed as runners approached the finish line . 3 died and 130 lost their lives. Five people were suspected in the boston bombing . Obama adressed the nation. "We still do not know who did this or why; but make no mistake, we will get to the bottom of this." .... "We will find out who did this, and we will hold them accountable."

A fertilizer plant exploded in Waco , Texas . It was not intetentional , there were many deaths and injuries According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, anhydrous ammonia is a pungent gas with suffocating fumes that is used as a fertilizer , this gas was a major concern for the town .

Reese Witherspoon and her husband were arrested , her husband was arrested for a DUI and she was arrested for disorderly conduct.

At a NCAA game , Kevin Ware Louisville guard had a compound fracture in his leg at the game , and was seriously injured . Louisville won the championship game 82-76.
