Asteriod nears Earth - National News 5/28/13
QE2 asteriod will fly by earth this friday . The asteriod k is called Asteroid 1998 QE2 officially, and it will fly by earth  its closest approach this Friday. It will keep a safe distance of 3.6 million miles, or equal to  15 times the distance between Earth and the moon. Unfortunately , you won't be able to see it without a powerful telescope.The asteriod is  believed to be about 1.7 miles long, or about nine times the length of the of a standard cruise ship. Althought this has nothing to do with its name. The letters and number in the represent  the timing and sequence of when the asteriod was found in 1998.

Metro News - Southeast Texas school district files appeal on court ruling on cheerleaders' Bible-verse banners

 Southeast Texas school district is taking away a court ruling that let high school cheerleaders to have banners at football games decorated  with Bible verses. The district says it wants the 9th Texas Court of Appeals in Beaumont to make sure  whether the Kountze High School cheerleaders have the ability to to include the religious message.
Entertainment News - Amanda Bynes Twitter wars.
Amanda Bynes has recently gone somewhat crazy , been to court several times within past month she is now targteting many people on her twitter. Amanda Bynes has put many celebrities on blast via twitter such as Jay-Z and Jenny McCarthy. She called JayZ ugly although no one really disagrees , called Courtney Love out and said she wasy ugly , as well as Jenny McCarrty, she even brought up the fact that Chris Brown beat up Rihanna .
Sports News- Nike to end livestrong Deal 
Nike is no longer associating themselves with Lance Armstrong.
The world's largest shoe and apparel brand has informed the Livestrong Foundation, the charity that he helped start, that it will no longer carry its line of Livestrong products by the end of this year.
"Nike has made the decision to stop producing new Livestrong product after its Holiday 2013 line," Nike spokesman KeJuan Wilkins said in a statement. 
Just last year,  Nike sold $150 million of Livestrong products, its most ever. Despite that Nike just no longer wants this brand.
